Corey Mayne

President / Director

Corey began his career as a music video director, and technical director at Pixar and Sony Imageworks where he took advantage of their writer/director employee enrichment courses. Since then he started providing VFX services through Formido for shows more akin to the type of content he’s developing.

Corey incorporated Formido Films in 2017 with long-time collaborator Barbara Szeman. Their award-winning adaptation of Stephen King’s ghost story "Willa" is the first of many exciting projects slated under this banner. 

Founder / Producer

Recipient of the 2020 RE3 Women in Leadership Grant, Barbara's passion for filmmaking informs her affinity for utilizing leading-edge technologies to tell stories.

Barbara launched her career with the sports entertainment series, BarbWireTV (2013-2016), which featured Steve Nash, Steven Stamkos, Patrick Patterson, and Super Bowl champ Luke Willson. Her unusual takes on the sporting world attracted sponsors like Coca Cola, Vitamin Water, and TSN.

Subsequent to her adaptation of Stephen King’s "Willa", she is prepping for her follow-up feature in mid-2026.

Project Management

With twelve years of film industry experience performing in front and behind the camera, Adrian has established himself in a unique way as a sophisticated actor and business leader.

After garnering praise for his intense leading role in the 2019 adaptation of Stephen King’s “Willa”, the COVID-19 pandemic hit and he became the the CEO of Pulsar Medical Inc. which provides medics, nurses, and medical consulting services for film and TV productions. Pulsar was also featured on CBC’s The National, CTV News, and Playback Magazine.
